Alexandra Fabricius is a project manager in the Components & Technologies division of DKE German Commission for Electrotechnical Electrical and Information Technologies in DIN and VDE. DKE is the German National Committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). 
Alexandra has been involved in standardization for graphene since 2013, coordinating activities in and between national and European research projects, the CENELEC Workshop “Specifications for graphene related materials”, the Graphene Flagship Standardization Committee and the IEC. Apart from her work in the area of standardization, she gained experience in technology and science communication start-ups. 
Alexandra received a diploma in Economics from the University of Münster, Germany.
