Dr. Ali Shaygan Nia received his B.Sc in Chemical Engineering (Polymer Technology) from Isfahan University of Technology (Iran) and obtained his Master and PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg (Germany). He received his PhD with the highest honor (summa cum laude) in June 2016 on the topic of “graphene based catalyst for self-healing polymer composites” and joined Prof. Xinliang Feng’s group as a PostDoc in Technical University of Dresden from July 2016. During his PostDoc, he gained excellent experiences in exfoliation of 2D materials and industrialization of graphene based materials especially conductive inks and polymer composites. He is currently working as Group Leader in group of Prof. Xinliang Feng at Technical University of Dresden in Germany.
