内容摘要
This presentation discusses using 2 different types of graphene-polymer composite membranes, including graphene-polymer nanocomposite anion exchange membrane, and graphene-polymer nanocomposite membrane, to be developed for water recovery and acid recovery from acid leaching wastewater. For the next 12 months, the following works will be conducted. They are the development of graphene-polymer nanocomposite anion exchange membrane for acid recovery, including membrane formulation and membrane forming parameters; and development of graphene-polymer nanocomposite membranes for pressure-driven filtration of acid wastewater for water recycling. The performance evaluation process will verify the scales up graphene-polymer nanocomposite anion exchange membranes for acid recovery from acid leaching wastewater via diffusion dialysis process; for recycling of acid leaching wastewater, including membrane formulation and membrane forming parameters; and finally the membrane performance that will be evaluated includes acid flux and selectivity, and membrane stability.
Upon completion of the above process, a scale-up of the 2 types of the graphene-polymer nanocomposite membranes will start in Northeastern China Membranes Manufacturing facilities.
A few successful lab results will also be presented to demonstrate the success of this research project to-date.
