内容摘要
Carbon nanostructures include fullerenes, carbon nanotubes, nanofibres, graphene and nanodiamonds. In recent years graphene has received widespread attention owing to its extraordinary physical, mechanical and chemical properties which make it a promising candidate for many applications. Molten salts offer an opportunity to economically produce large amounts of graphene. The intercalation of hydrogen into the interlayer space of graphite crystallites at the graphite electrodes immersed in molten LiCl leads to the formation of high quality graphene nanosheets in a high yield. This process is anticipated to be a simple and efficient method for the large-scale production of graphene nanomaterials. The recent advancements in the preparation and possible applications of the molten salt produced graphene are reviewed.
